Looking for drama pathetic

Seriously are asking for someone else's description or opinion rather than making that decision on your own. That's pathetic.

please don't immediately jump to the conclusion that someone is trying to stir the pot. I can tell you for a fact that when you come from out of state and from the north and have nobody in your family that has ever been in a sorority you will come to a site like this for information. Many of you girls, especially in the south, grew up around this stuff. You all have family members, mothers, aunts, grandmothers etc that were in sororities. Many of you are legacies or have people you know really well that are in/were part of greek life. For someone that does not have that connection it is very intimidating and you want to get information any way you can. The recruitment process is very intimidating and it is even more so when you know absolutely nothing about it. And getting Letters of Recommendations...my goodness try to understand how hard that is for someone that knows absolutely nobody because you are the first in the family to rush. While I agree there are plenty that come here to start drama, please don't assume that is everyone's intent. When I rushed I didn't even know, or even heard of all of the sororities let alone the corresponding greek letters. Some girls aren't raised around this stuff!

Then wait until you rush to make your own opinion on each house. Somebody else's bias opinion won't help you. Every house is great you just need to decide for yourself

what the last two posters have said are true. Just get your own feel of things when on campus. Talk to as many people that you can, but even with that, take everything with a grain of salt. There are different opinions and experiences depending on who you talk to so you really have to trust your gut I think. And I think that other person was just trying to remind some of the people accusing the OP of trying to start drama that some girls really don't know how this stuff works. Good luck girls and the number #1 thing is keep an open mind.
