why
by: hmmmmdo sororities make exceptions for some girls with gpas below the requirement?
#1by: Because
Your GPA only says so much about you. If a girl has a GPA under a chapter's requirement but they extend them a bid anyway, it's because they see beyond what's on paper and often find intelligent (since GPA isn't always an indicator of that) beautiful, funny women with common interests of those in the house. GPA isn't the most important thing. Often times involvement and your personality greatly outweigh your grades.
#5by: Honestly,
The more competitive houses rarely make exceptions because they have so many girls that want them, they don't have to. I think my house has passed up some awesome girls due to grades. But if a house can make quota with girls with good grades, most see no reason to take girls below their GPA requirement.
