to get a cob bid? From what my friends have told me it sounds like I have to suck up to girls in sororities to get them.

Seriously? So like what, do I just meet an active girl in my class and kiss up to her? Or do I like try to email someone in the chapter? Just sucking up to people sounds a little weird but I've been pretty depressed since I got got dropped.

Contact someone you know in the chapter you want to go and just try to hang out with a bunch of actives and be like omg I wish we were sisters! Eventually the recruitment chair will contact you and extend you a bid.

Can anyone be offered one? I intentional preferenced one house and was not offered a bid by them? I would have gone with them if they picked me up. Could I take a COB if one if one were offered?

If you were released from recruitment or withdrew before pref. if you signed a pref card and were extended a bid then you can't do anything for a year

on my bid card I had two choices. Chose one of the as my single preference and singed the card The one I chose did not chose me. What would this mean COB wise?

I wish I had too now, It was a house that did not seem to have any interest in me and felt no connection. But looking back, yes I should have just risked it.

At the preferences meeting they said that you cannot go through spring rush or COB events once you sign your perf card. What you did is called "suiciding" where you don't rank all of your choices. As a result, you'll have to wait until next year.
