rec letters
by: PNMIf you don't have a rec letter for a sorority that says they require one, is there a chance you can still get into that sorority?

a very, very small chance. Most of the sororities that require letters of recommendation have this requirement because they have high return rates and need an easy way to cut girls after the first round (aside from grades) or it is a rule in place by their nationals. If a girl absolutely loves you and thinks you would be a perfect fit for their chapter, they might try to contact an alumni and get a rec for you but like I said, that is rare. My advice is to get recs for every chapter as it helps you have one foot forward and keeps your options open!

Agree with Eh. Get at least one official Rec for each house! letters of support from alumnae would also help in addition to the Recs.
