my story
by: Me
I have only been to this site a few times. However, a friend of mine told me how awful the posts have been, so I thought I would share my experience.
I am in a "top" house, though I don't think that exists. The truth is I am not really happy here. Don't get me wrong, the sorority is full of wonderful girls, but it's just not where I belong. Rather than go with what would have been a better fit for me, I got caught up in all the hype of being in the "top" house. Two of my friends are in what this site would call a "lower mid" house (one chose it, one got her 2nd choice), and they would not choose to be anywhere else. The fact is there isn't that much difference between the sororities to choose a house just because it ranks high on this site. The odd thing is I have never heard girls talk about this kind of stuff on campus. Most of the girls I know all hang out with girls in different houses and get along with one another very well. Once you are in the right house, you really don't care about tiers and rankings, so most of what it written on this site makes no sense to me. I can only think that it is a very few girls who are desperate for their house to look better on a site that no one really cares about.
Sorry for the length, but please don't judge any sorority by what is posted here. Make your own decision and go with your heart and mind. I promise you will not regret it. Good luck to all during recruitment.

I am glad you posted your experience. I know several girls who chose the wrong house and either dropped or aren't very active. However, I know others who dropped out of recruitment because they were dropped from their top choice and ended up regretting it. The system of recruitment works if you will stick with it and choose wisely for yourself.
