Pi Kapp, This Is My Formal Lament 💙⚡️

It is with a heavy heart (and an unpainted Igloo cooler) that I come to you today. I have officially taken an L… not only did I not get to paint a cooler, but I wasn’t even invited to Pi Kapp formal.

No all-nighters inhaling Mod Podge fumes. No stress-crying over the perfect Bourbon Street skyline. No spending my own money to craft a masterpiece that would have been used as a glorified footrest on a party bus. And worst of all? No NOLA. Just me, sitting at home, scrolling through Snapchat stories of people throwing beads and making poor decisions on Bourbon Street.

Meanwhile, every other girl on this campus is out here fighting for her life in the Hobby Lobby paint aisle, and what do I have? A Pinterest board full of broken dreams.

Pi Kapp, I thought we had something special. I heart you, but my heart is broken. 💔 If y’all need a back-up date, a moral support attendee, or just someone to Venmo you for a daiquiri out of sheer FOMO, I’m available.
