Sorority Ranking unbiased at utk:
Some might disagree but this is just my take from my first hand experience at the school. Also slightly based in how I think next year could go (off of executive so far)
Top:KD, Tri Delt, Phi mu
Upper mid: AXO, Delta Zeta,ADphi
Mid: Zeta, DG,XO, AOP
Lower mid: DG, SK, KKG, AGD
Bottom: Piphi

Girl look at the grades. SK has better grades than AXO, Phi Mu, and KD. 🙄 KKG has the 3rd highest GPA of all. XO has a high GPA, but their girls are weird. They are not Bama’s XO. Aopi is ok for Bible thumping.

This has nothing to do with being Northern or Southern—shame on you for making this about economics. Money talks, but wealth whispers, and if you understood generational wealth, you’d know the South has plenty of it, built on tradition, legacy, and deep-rooted connections. I have many friends from the North who have chosen to acclimate to the area and respect the culture rather than looking down on it. Also, boyfriends? Is that really why you came to college?

So many great girls are in every sorority—smart, pretty, and involved! My best friend group at UTK consists of a mix of girls in KD, Tri Delta, SK, XO, DZ, and ADPi, plus some who aren’t in Greek life, and we’re all really close. No matter what chapter you join, you’ll find amazing friendships both inside and outside of Greek life. Rankings are always subjective, and every sorority has something great to offer.

Look at involvement, awards and GPA. They are far more selective during recruitment than the sororities you listed. Kappa is irrelevant. SK has pretty girls but they don’t have good grades.
