Out-of-State Students Taking Spots

My little sister just got deferred from UTK and is really excited about joining Greek life. She’s in-state and does well academically, but she’s not in the top 10% for auto-admit. I’m worried with enrollment numbers changing and more out-of-state students coming, it’s going to be harder for her and her friends to get into the top houses. I think we’ll need to be really selective during recruitment next year.

I was in one of the 4 houses with a lot of out-of-state girls, so I’m scared to say anything, but I really want to help my sister navigate this.

Not only does this make absolutely no sense for an actual sorority member to say, but they would not come on greekrank for this in the first place.

This is so tacky and classless. What you're saying is in state girls are better than OOS girls? You are an embarrassment to Greek life.
