DG Needs to Focus on Rebuilding, Not Rankings

DG at UTK has been struggling with recruitment for the past few years, and it’s becoming more obvious how desperate they are to stay relevant. They’ve gone from being a solid mid-tier sorority to lower mid/bottom tier, and the constant self-ranking in the top tiers lately isn’t fooling anyone. It’s also clear they’ve been down-ranking strong sororities like DZ, AOPi, XO, AXO, and Zeta to make themselves look better.

And let’s not forget that fall recruitment video—it was the joke of all the PNMs. The frolicking on the beach, slow-motion running, and random cartwheels made it feel more like a parody than an actual recruitment effort.

Whoever is making these posts isn’t being fair to the good members in DG or the chapter’s former reputation as a higher-ranked sorority. Instead of trying to manipulate rankings and bring others down, focus on rebuilding what DG once was. Everyone sees through the desperate moves, and the good members deserve better
