As a member of a sorority at UT, I don't think we have very defined tiers...which is not the impression you would get from reading this website. While I think there is a clear distinction between the top 2 houses (Phi Mu and KD) and all the other houses and the bottom 2 houses (Pi Phi and SK) with all the other houses, those are the only sororities that are actually SIGNIFICANTLY better or worse than the mass majority. Everyone else falls in the middle somewhere, in somewhat of an order but not so distinct that you can actually sit there and number each house. At such a big school Greek life is a more even playing field than people make it out to be. If you're not in a top 2 or bottom 2 house you're somewhere in the middle. This is my ranking, which puts everyone in a bracket and within these brackets order doesn't matter.
1. [Phi Mu and KD]
2.[AOPi, DZ, ADPi, Chi O, Tri Delt, AXO]
3. [KKG, DG, ZTA]
4. [Pi Phi,SK]

I am not a Phi Mu or a KD. I am in one of the lower ranked houses and I am fine with that. But, like it or not this post is correct. There is no longer a significant difference between the sororities. While Phi Mu may be slightly ahead of the others based mostly on looks, the rest is not far behind. You could post virtually any ranking and it would be accurate according to a lot of people.

in their minds. Honestly, KD is near the bottom in things that really count. They both self promote on this site, making it look like they're top. This thread is by far the tackiest thing I have ever seen. They both truly should be embarrassed. It makes them look absolutely ridiculous.
