sororities
by: .DDD, KD, Phi Mu, AOPi, Chi O, and ADPi are the 6 most selective sororities when it comes to recruitment. They simply cut the most girls and get the highest return rates. That doesn't mean that the other sororities at UT aren't great, too. These 6 just have a longer standing history and tradition at UT. Every sorority has beautiful and smart women.

The sororities that require rec letters are ADPi, AOPi, Chi O, Tri Delt, DZ, KKG, Phi Mu, and SK.
The sororities that require the highest GPAs from incoming freshmen are AXO and KD which both require a 3.25.
The sororities that require the highest GPAs from current college students are AXO, ADPi, Chi O, DZ, and ZTA, which require a 3.0.
All of this information is straight from Pan's website, so don't listen to any of the "factual" information from the other posters, because obviously they don't know what they're talking about. ALL of the chapters at UT are selective, and ALL of the chapters are fantastic, so to say that only 6 of them are selective is ignorant.

is actually EXTREMELY true. These are the sororities that require high GPAs and letters of recommendation. They are for sure the most selective, yet as the original poster said- that does not mean other sororities aren't good as well. For example, DZ is a great sorority but not as selective. I know of a few girls who got in with no letters of rec.
