Rankings PNM POV

It is a mix of everything. The vibe I get when in the houses, conversations I’m having with other pnms, rankings here and what I see on social media. I might not be a good fit for PhiMu, KD and ADPi but I see why they are top tier. However in the mid tiers, I was surprised to see some ranked so low and some overrated.

That makes sense. I was just curious what basing off of. Thanks :)

I agree some chapters seem a little disinterested with me being from out of state. My personal preference does not align with what people on greekrank say is top at all

Honestly, I agree with this, although my personal preference would put KD off the top row. It seemed like they had their clicks from in state going through. I felt more welcomed from others.

This was my experience as well. I agree with the KD comment as well. They were not as welcoming to me as ADPI, TriDelt, and DZ as an out of stater. This was just my experience.

As an OOS girl I have KD and Phi Mu as my final two. My mom told me rushing in the SEC is no joke and you need to make an effort. Resume, grades, letters of Rec and video have to be done . In my dorm floor we all shared our videos and I can tell you that I heard so many girls complaining that the top 2 houses didn’t call them back because they are from OOS… no it’s be because you didn’t put any work into recruitment. This is like a job interview the best one gets hired. I knew no one and I have these two options. Don’t be mad and blame the houses blame yourself for not putting in the work.

people who say OOS vs instate doesn't matter, it totally does. as a top house alum, we go through all your socials and have the opportunity to pre rank you over the summer based on your social media and who knows you. if you're from let's say, indiana, and no active members know you, you're not getting any comments or remarks and therefore have a low prescore and are pretty much dropped before go greek round even starts.

Are you going through recruitment because you say KD and PhiMu didn't seem interested in oos girls yet you put them top? I can tell you as an oos girl, I would not put them top. AXO wouldn't be high on my list either. I did think ADPI and DZ made me felt heard and seen, as did Chi O.

I definitely felt seen and heard in Chi O, DZ and AOII. Vibes were off in Zeta & AXO.

Then why did you put kd and phi mu at the top, and then put the houses that take the most out of state girls at the bottom?

I feel sorry for girls who actually believed the ranks on this site and decided it was 2 or 3 certain houses or drop. My experience of who was top does not align with what this site says at all. The so called top two were anything but in my book. I felt so more valued in some of the other houses.

if phi mu and kd aren't top to you, that's fine. but in frat perspective and overall perspective from people on campus, kd and phi mu are top tier.
if a girl walks up to a cute guy and says they're a skrappa, guys aren't gonna be as interested as a girl who walks up to them and is a phi mu. sorry but true.

To the girl talking about frat perspective? You are cra-cra. Most guys I know date DDD’s, Chi 0’s and ADPI’s. The ones that dated Phi Mu’s and KD’s broke up because there was too much “drama.”

Top choices for every OOS girl I met were DZ, TriDelt and ADPI. Myself included.

Right? The girls there are nice, fun and there seems to be a strong sisterhood.

I know there are girls who were released from recruitment, but every OOS girl I know and talked to who did not receive a bid chose to withdraw from recruitment after being dropped from some select houses rather than continue with the houses they had. I find it funny I keep seeing comments about how some houses lack an open mind to OOS girls, which yes is unfair, but then those same girls lacked an open mind with the chapters that DID invite them back. The hypocrisy and lack of awareness is kind of baffling

Ummm a LOT of OOS girls did not aim for KD or PhiMu. Many of us had zero connections so our aim was to go where we felt welcomed. They were definitely not it for many OOS girls. TriDelt had a better vibe and were far more interesting.

Yes, that’s exactly what I am saying. When you’re OOS you really don’t know about any of the houses. You find out through recruitment. Many of us were not as impressed with you as you seem to be in yourself.
