KD is top of the top tier

I wouldn’t suggest only ranking KD, but if you are that adamant it’s KD or nothing then no one can stop you. But if you are invited to another chapter for preference and you dont show up you actually risk being removed from recruitment. No showing a chapter is a huge deal and heavily frowned on.

I think it’s great that you’re so passionate about a sorority, but don’t forget - they have to want you to join their sorority as much as you want in. There’s probably a good 90% of pnm’s that would like to be a KD. So don’t set yourself up for heartbreak. There are many, many great sororities at Tennessee. Keep an open mind.

This poster is allowed to like KD more than other chapters, but I personally would say that there is really only one benefit to single preference which is if KD did not extend a bid then PNM is eligible to COB or be snap bid later. I never really understood the appeal to single preference because if you maximize your options you are guaranteed to receive a bid from the two you prefed. Its up to you Poster how you feel, but I would suggest being more open to a another because recruitment really is too short to know what chapter you are ride or die for. Why not at least give another a chance? You can always leave before being initiated.
