Not a dz hater. I feel for dz because an obvious troll keeps moving them higher and higher in rankings just to cause drama. Dz is a good sorority but doesn't have the stats to rank so high. Upper rankings can't be based on personal opinions alone. Return and retention rates matter, gpa matters (this is college), and pan achievements matter if you need to rank. All sororities at ut are good. All participate. All contribute. Rankings are ranking yet everyone likes their own house the best.

I was a gamma chi last year and DZ had the highest return rates. They also won all sing and lip sync. I'm not trying to justify anything but saying they don't fit certain things that make a sorority one of the better ones isn't right.

For a house to think that they are better than the other houses just because they won something is ridiculous because EVERY house has either won and or placed in something multi times. And it looks like DZ is the only house to brag. For all the girls who claim not to be DZers but brag and bash others for DZs sake-just stop.....let DZ take care of themselves. Your making them look like desperate wannabies.

To the person who commented that they were a Gamma Chi and DZ had the highest return rates: you're not privy to that information for each chapter. Maybe more women in YOUR group returned to DZ but unless you're on Panhellenic recruitment team (in which case you shouldn't be sharing confidential information anyway) you wouldn't know those stats. Saying "I was a Gamma Chi" doesn't lend you any credibility.

sure did. I heard that some houses considered top tier in the past were extremely rude this year during rush which hurt their return rates which is why DZ and some other houses did extremely well.

To pnms. No gamma chi is going to get on this site. No gamma chi is going to reveal inside confidences. Only houses know what their return rates were. If DZ had the highest return rate then they will have to release the largest amount of pnms during fall recruitment and that gives other houses more opportunity to get to know all pnms. It works out in the long run.

I really like the houses that don't self rank and I like the houses that don't respond when they get bashed on their ranking site. That takes guts. Very classy.
