If Real Ranks is accurate then Pi Beta Phi founded in 1867 as I.C. Sorosis (Latin for In Agreement) should be much higher in campus rank. Last year True Tried Friend HQ. hired The Nova Collective to improve DEI. Tennessee Gammas
proudly offers membership regardless of gender, race, personal appearance, spiritual beliefs or income. Pin on the arrow badge winged with faith and hope and pointed with truth.

there’s little dei in pi phi on a national level. there is currently a ritual review committee in place trying to decide if references to Christ and the Trinity should be removed from ritual because it is offensive to non-Christians and not disclosed until initiation….

Pi Beta Phi ritual creed (written in 1890) is from Christian bible, new testament Phillippians Chapter IV. Verse 8
Whatsoever things are true,
whatsoever things are honest...
Although there is no mention of Jesus, the creed isn't DEI. and is going to be removed. Over 30% of collegiate True Tried Friends are atheist or agnostic.

Problems began some years ago when collegiate Pi Phis failed to inform potential members that it rituals are based on the Christian faith. Forewarned, the people offended by Christian beliefs could have chosen a different sorority.

Agree. If they don’t change ritual and remove references to Christ(Jesus) they need to disclose this during recruitment. You absolutely cannot wait until initiation to inform members they are part of a Christian organization. Saying that you welcome all creeds and then making members recite a Christian ritual is wrong on so many levels.

I think other srats reference “God” (non-denominational) but pi phi references “Christ” (Jesus)?
