Considering dropping top tier

I got into what is considered a top sorority at Utk..I am so upset as I have not really made any connections! Ther is so many groups already and feel like maybe I got into the wrong sorority..I don’t know what I’m doing wrong..does it take longer than 5 weeks to really meet people or do u think I should not initiate and go through rush again? Im heartbroken..I had envisioned a much different scenario!

I had the same issue my freshman year. I didnt really have many friends in my sorority to go hang out with or even go to game days. My mom told me that once I got my Big to talk to her and tell her how I was feeling and struggling to meet other girls. It helped and she setup some dinners for us to hang with her friends and I got to know their littles and I slowly started to get included. Also make sure you do some if the events they have that’s another way ti meet some of your pc. Living in the house also makes a huge difference.
I felt lonely last year and it got so much better 2nd semester and living in the house has been amazing.
