why did you choose your sorority?

You definitely get the feeling! I chose mine because I was always the most excited to go back to it during rush, and when I looked around I could really picture myself fitting in with the actives.

trust the process, as clichè as it sounds. i never saw myself in the house i’m in now when rush started, but as the week progressed i started to see myself there more and more and now i can’t imagine being anywhere else. it’s absolute perfect for me and you’ll find what’s perfect for you too!

In honesty, you don't get much of a choice. You choose from whoever's left after the sororities that choose to cut you do that.

I optimized mine by philanthropy. I wanted to belong to an organization where I knew my money was making a difference. The next thing was the honesty and understanding that the girls I talked to was important bc I value people who are up front. I felt like my sorority was so up front about obligations and finances and I appreciated that bc I knew it wad more than just looking for people to hang out with, it's a lifelong commitment!

i chose my sorority based on the philanthropy initially. i felt connected to each girl knowing they were equally enthusiastic about what they were doing and how it truly was making a difference, not just monetarily but physically. i continued to fall in love with my sorority through a gut feeling that the girls were kind, and i would be able to know and trust them on a deeper level. i continue to choose my sorority each and every day because the girls live by the values of the organization which makes me know recruitment was not just a show but a genuine representation of sisterhood and lifelong commitment to one another:)

I chose mine because of the connections I made during recruitment. My sorority felt really inclusive and genuine. I tried to avoid listening to gossip and I'm so glad that I did. I love mine. I have so many friends and everybody is so sweet.
