GPA for rush???
by: utkI've heard a bunch of mixed messages on what the actual GPA needed for rush is. On the website it says a 3.0 or higher. Will having a GPA of a 3.0 ruin your odds of getting into a sorority though?

Hey!! I had a 3.0 coming into UTK. Unfortunately, it will limit you. A lot of houses have gpa requirements of 3.2+. They can make acceptions but it isn’t likely. I was President/Vice President of multiple clubs and req letters to all the ones that accepted them. I was dropped by a good amount after philanthropy because of GPA. Don’t be too worried, I still got in my favorite house.
