adpi and chi o

In researching the sororities, ADPi and ChiO seem to place the most emphasis on their grades (they have the highest average GPA). Do they pay a lot of attention to grades and academics during recruitment? I really want to be a part of a sorority that focuses on academics, but am worried I will not be considered for ADPi or ChiO since I am from out of state. I have a strong academic record, but will they even consider me?
