Question (sorority) pls answer

Signed up for rush but nervous I won’t get a bid at all. How common is it to get dropped from all of the houses at UTK?

Not common at the very least you’ll end up a pi phi

realistically there are just under 3,000 girls signed up for recruitment with 13 houses. last year pledge classes were about 115 girls with ~ 2500 girls meaning about 1000 girls either left recruitment or were released from recruitment. pc’s will get bigger but probably assume a similar no bid amount

I can't speak for last year, but this year there were just over 2,100 signed up. It was nowhere near 3,000.

There’s an official summary from Panhellenic. In 2019 (last year recruitment was fully live until now) there were approx. 1256 who signed up and actually 1236 who started rush. (I think I have those right.) 94 withdrew. 4% (56) were released. Doesn’t say how many of those who were released or withdrew got bids through COB or Spring recruitment. Idk the exact #s for 2022, but I doubt they doubled.

If you got in a house you did well - this was a hard year for all the girls with the third largest in the SEC rushing. All time record at Tennessee.
