worries
by: HiHi! I am going to be an incoming freshman next year and I am worried about recruitment. I am hoping to find a group that has a very close bond and I have a very small family so I want an extended family. I want to be involved with a group that is very involved on campus and really tries to succeed. What I have read on this site has me a little worried. I am a very outgoing confident social person but partying isn't my main concern. I just want to go through college with sisters and good memories (and maybe a few event wins :) ) Is this too much to ask or have I set the bar too high?

Just don't go Greek at UT. It's caddy and hateful. UT's GR site reflects it all. Houses like to spread lies about others and themselves just because they are that mean. And then they'll get on here denying it all and saying their house has the best sisterhood, but of course others don't. Pathetic.

GO GREEK. Best decision I have made. I felt so lost at UT and by joining a sorority I met so many great people.
