Why did Sig Ep get kicked off and lose their house?

Lost their charter because the nationals Sigep is a dry frat now. Zero tolerance. They are probably selling the house to a national srat

Fraternities, including SigEp, have developed a reputation of being organizations that exist to promote alcohol consumption. Our money and time are spent on parties. We are known in the media and in our campus communities as havens for drinking. That must change for SigEp. Removing chapters unwilling or unable to follow rules sends a clear message about what we value and what we do not value.

Had a good run in the top tier, but a series of risk management issues brought to light leadership deficiencies and operational problems making member development programming consistent with being a highly valued partner in higher education. Enhanced partnership between all stakeholders and total alignment with current expectations of Sigma Phi Epsilon will make TN Alpha not only the best fraternity on campus, but the best student organization overall.
