hazing

I am a high school senior thinking of rushing next year. I know everyone says hazing is not tolerated but I am very curious if this is true or not. Do some sororities haze?

I am in a top-tier sorority here, and my chapter has not once shown ANY sign of hazing. I haven't heard of any other sororities doing it either. HOWEVER, frats are a different story.
