Will other houses drop u if they know u r legacy?

Leave it off your recruitment form and your resume you send for recommendations completely. Because some houses will make assumptions that you’re definitely going where you are a legacy.

Make it clear to other houses that you have a very open mind while going through recruitment, something along the lines of “I’m a legacy at a house, but I’m keeping and open mind and I’m so excited to see where i feel the most at home”. Also, don’t let this website tell you what chapter is or isn’t for you! They’re all awesome.

I’m a double legacy for one sorority and put it on my form but I knew going into recruitment that I didn’t really want to be in that house. Normally the girl talking to you will ask if you had family in Greek life and I would mention my family in that sorority but that I wanted to go into the whole experience with an open mind. I didn’t have a problem getting dropped from other houses because of it and I was actually dropped by my legacy house after 2nd round. So you could mention it on your profile or not... won’t matter either way :)
