I would hope that wouldn't be a reason that all 13 chapters would cut someone. Surely 1900+ girls aren't that shallow. If your daughter didn't get into a chapter, please tell her it's because an even bigger opportunity is waiting for her in another group on campus where she can do great work and make amazing memories. Confidence and personality are the biggest factors. And sometimes the choices you make just happen to be the exact wrong ones. Usually if you get to pref and you maximize your options you are guaranteed a bid. She can always look into spring recruitment too.
