go greek & philanthropy
by: CuriousLet's use this site for some good - whose Go Greek and Philanthropy rounds were the most memorable and why? Are there things you'd recommend any groups (no specific names necessary) change next year?

Does it really matter? isnt about who has the most letters of recommendation. If you are going to charge a fee, on your Greek sheet, it should inform the rushee that LETTERS OF REC ARE REQUIRED in most of the sororities, it should go on someones personal resume, and rush week, not by who MOMMY DEAREST OR SISSY DEAREST IS.

totally agree! I'm a sophomore in a sorority here. Coming from out of state I had no clue about how seriously they took recommendations. I didn't have any going through rush, but had I know that would have benefited me tremulously I would have gotten multiple recs for every house and probably would have landed a top tier sorority.

I swear to you, it doesn't matter if you have recs! I'm a double chi o legacy. Super active in school, good gpa and act and got cut. Roommate Tri Delt legacy and too was dropped by them. I doubt it would have benefited you tremulously. Top tier are extremely cut throat! They do serve a purpose, but it WILL NOT guarantee you a bid.
