fall rush as a sophomore

by: yoyoyo

I planned on doing fall recruitment my freshman year but I decided not to bc I broke my leg and hip in July. I was wondering if recruitment is harder for sophomores than it is for freshman? Also my gpa is like a 2.9 now so am I just screwed lolol???

If you are a legacy you are in better shape than not. AOPi has taken some girls with lower grades. DDD takes lower grade legacies as well as AXO

if you are a legacy do you need to somehow contact the sorority to tell them?

Yes, your legacy relative needs to contact them ASAP. Some nationals have an official legacy introduction form for doing so, otherwise, she should contact the chapter's recruitment chair and make sure she gives her initiation chapter and date so they can verify your legacy status.

If people in houses know you already from being on campus for a year and they like you then that can help if they pull for you. You still need recs.
