out of state sorority bids

Is it possible for an out of state girl going through rush to get a bid at a top house?

Yes some of the most sought after girls during this fall rush. Most of time out of state were recruited by the school for their high gpa and leadership and got big merit scholarships to come here so are best of best.

it is very hard to get anywhere on "top house" if you don't know anyone personally or well enough for them to vouch for you

^agree with both. It is very hard to get in a top house here especially if you don't have local connections. Phi Mu and KD are probably the most selective. If they want you during rush you have to be best of the best meaning grades, looks, personality, recs etc. but seriously there are a lot of great houses so don't just get wrapped up in who is top.
