by: memberHow does this process work? Is it better to wait for Spring? Is Spring a formal recruitment?

94 views, and no answer. I thought this whole process was to meet people. I didn't know it was so superficial. Who's the top, who's got the nicest outfit. Women power that we've worked for all these years, has slipped to an all time low. It's sad, really. I thought it was for the unity of women, not to make them feel worse. Do you read the resumes? Do you see what the girls contribute? Or is it all based on beauty vs. brains?

Unless things have changed recently, you should contact Panhellenic and let them know that you are interested in Greek life, and you wonder if any of the sororities are open to membership now or in the spring. I'm sure that Panhellenic can forward your name on to chapters who qualify to offer bids.
Who can offer bids after formal rush has ended? Forget about quota now. It is irrelevant Houses that are below total can continue to extend bids to girls until they reach their total number. If total were 120, any house below 120 could offer girls membership until they had 120 members in the chapter. (I made up that number. I have no idea what total is right now.)
Know that formal rush only takes place in the fall, but there should still be some amazing sororities that are below total who would welcome your inquiry. Wishing you the best. I saw sororities get some amazing girls through COB.

Don't confuse this site with real, actual Greek life. This is a business site unaffiliated with any Greek life or school. More clicks = more ads = more $$$. Get real answers from panhellenic. If you want real answers, that is.
