Top (in no order): PhiMu, KD, DZ, TriDelt. ADPI
Middle: ZTA, Aopi
Lower Middle: Chio, AXO, DG
Bottom: EK, KKG, PiPhi

I suppose it depends on what your criteria is...
If you are ranking based on the fact that the “top” tier were able to seek out girls that look exactly them and will perpetuate existing reputations, than you are probably correct. However, given some of the reputations of the “top”, I think the true wins came with those chapters that were able to secure successful, beautiful and smart girls that have their priorities in order. There is a lot more to “top” tier than what is reflected in a picture.

I agree. With that being said, many of my friends were disappointed. I was lucky to get one of the above, but in reality, I think I would be happy anywhere! I thought all the houses seemed amazing!!!

Interestingly enough, I did not go through Recruitment... as my name states, I’m simply a vigilant observer, given a unique perspective as a result of my position at UTK. Beauty is certainly in the eye of the beholder, but my OP said nothing about the appearances of those you classify as “top tier”. In fact, I think beautiful girls pledged all sororities. What I did say was that those groups classified as “Top” tier all looked exactly alike, and I stand by that observation. It’s accurate.

I did not see it at all like you did. I thought both DZ and ZTA were way better than CHIO or AOPI. I am not sure what you meant by squeezed themselves into a rank? Everyone I knew loved both of those houses but not CHIO or AOPI so much. This is the way I saw it:
PHIMU, KD, ADPI, DZ, DDD (all seemed equal)
ZTA ( a little lower)
CHIO and AOPI
AXO and DG
SK, KKG, and PiPhi (all about the same)

I knew plenty of girls who put them as first choice. What is your problem??? DZ has been in the top for a couple of years. Are you jealous that Zeta has now surpassed your chapter too? Can we say, bitter!?! I am loving it!!!

Oh, but you are wrong!!! They didn't just like Zeta and DZ, they wanted them. Be real, DZ has been popular for a few years now, and Zeta is quickly soaring towards top tier. Some of the alum seem to think nothing has changed. My aunt was here and said Chio and AOPI were once very popular, not so much the case that I can see. I am in a "top" tier house, and I LOVE seeing other houses do well. Apparently, you do not enjoy the success of others.

Early on my top choices were PhiMu, KD, DDD, DZ and most of the other girls in my group liked those houses the best too. Of course as recruitment went on and girls were dropped from some of those houses, they found things to love about the other houses at UT. I hope everyone found themselves in their perfect house.

This is the most desperate string I’ve seen on Greek Rank in forever. It’s just sadZ I mean, sure, we all know this entire site is full of self-ranking- always has been, but wow. Y’all just need to take a lesson from ALL the rest of the houses who are actually confident with who they are on campus and chill out. Then maybe y’all wouldn’t come across as such wannabes. It’s okay that you are a DZ or a Zeta. You are fine You will be okay.

No house on our campus does.Just because someone on a stupid site likes them better than your house you call them desperate. GASP! You accuse someone of self ranking because people may actually like them better than you??? Your post SCREAMS insecurity and jealousy. If you are so confident, so you say, you wouldn't even feel the need to call out houses and try to belittle them. That's not confidence, honey, that's jealously.

Someone is bitter. The top tier houses are top tier for a reason. They are heavily involved in their philanthropies and the community, and let's face it, all the houses GPA's are within tenths of points from one another. And your slamming top tier houses because they all "look like them." In other words, you're slamming girls for being beautiful. Some of the middle tier houses basically recruit from the same high school so, what's the difference? Your post resonates pure jealousy. The top tier houses did get beautiful, smart, successful girls. It looks like you had to settle and are not happy about it.
