Hearts get broken every year during this time and I’m truly sorry if one was yours, but don’t try to bring down houses who cut you to make yourself feel better. You will see when you are on the other side next year, a house cannot take every girl they want. Focus on the house who chose you and you will have a great Greek experience.

Seems like it. Wow! Talk about not being very diversified. Everyone seems to know that, and it really makes the chapter seem like an extension of high school without much variety. There are so many great schools in Memphis, across Tennessee, and out of state. Dare to be different!

Honestly, CHIO wasn't on most girls radar so maybe they take the girls who really want them. They didn't stand out to me as a top house but nice enough.

They got an odd mix for them. I think they attempted to diversify this year. They certainly weren't on the top of most girls' lists from what I heard so maybe they just appealed to the Briarcrest girls. They are nice enough, but they just don't get the diversification the other houses do which makes them seem like an extension of high school rather than a college sorority.

To answer your question, no. CHIO is not as competitive as many others. With that being said, they are not very diverse and tend to take from the same pool year after year. There is absolutely nothing wrong with Chio, they just don't tend to be as popular with PNM's as KD, PhiMu, TriDelt, DZ, and ADPI. They seem to stick to themselves, so if you don't fit a certain mold or are not a legacy you may be overlooked. The other houses I mentioned are way more diverse, the reason for their popularity on campus.

Give it up, alum, lol! NOBODY in this decade refers to ADPI or AOPI as ADTT or AOTT. And seriously the most sought out houses hands down were KD, PhiMu, TriDelt, DZ, and ADPI. AOPI or AOTT as you call it wasn't even on the radar for most.
