rushing as a sophomore

I’m rushing this fall as a sophomore. I have a 3.6 gpa and have a couple letters of rec, but I’m really nervous bc I heard it’s harder to get bids as an upperclassman :( pls help

Surely some sorority members already know you from class or dorms or something, so if they like you they can pull for you. Have you reached out to any members and told them you are interested in their house?

I am transferring to UTK as a sophomore -- is it harder for sophomores???

Not gonna lie, it is a little harder but don't let it worry you because there's nothing you can do about that. Focus on the things you can affect. Just bring your very best.

Rushing as a sophomore is probably the easiest time to rush because they have different quotas for upperclassmen and freshman

I know a lot of people who went through recruitment as a sophomore. It has its pros and cons but everyone who does it as a sophomore has found their home. Good luck.
