frat rush
by: BlueballsHow is Fraternity Rush going to work this year? The schedule on the IFC website is very vague. What are the rounds? Do you pick which frats you go back to or do they pick you or both?

The first two days you’ll go around to every house and then each frat will submit a list of who they want back for the next round. The rushees will see a list of which houses picked them and then select their top 6. The next day, they’ll visit the top 6 and then the same process will be done and they’ll narrow it to 4. Next day, same thing and narrow to 2. Final day, they’ll visit the last two houses and pick a house if they receive a bid. After that, they’ll pledge and then get blackballed the day before initiation.

“Recruitment fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Appeals may be made to the Interfraternity Council's Vice President of Administration. Recruitment Fees pay for the PNM to receive programming, 2 meals, staff support, travel during open house rounds, and more.”

If a rushee doesn’t get any invites back do they get their money back from IFC?
