core 4

think by posting a core four is petty and small. I don't agree with your list, but I have too much class to go on here and say who doesn't belong in the top four on your list. Get a life...we are out of high school.

Now it is more like a top six. I'd say the top six sororities now are phi mu, aopi, delta zeta, kappa delta, tri delt, and adpi.

i'm sorry but dz is NOT top 4 or even top 6. chi o is still way better

Just wanting to point out that the saying "core Four" stems from the core four sororities on campus. ADPI AOPI CHIO AND TRIDELT were the first four sororites at UT, hence the saying Core Four that usually goes along with these chapters. Yes, traditionally these are still the best chapters on campus and hardest to get in to, but that doesn't mean they are always the best. KD, Phi Mu are equally just as good, but can never really be considered core 4 as they were not one of the first four on campus. DZ may be a great chapter, but to PNM's coming through recruitment this is rarely a sought after sorority, there retention numbers could in no way compare to many of what are considered top chapters. However, there are GREAT GIRLS in every chapter and most of them are quite decent.

is no way CHIO is better than DZ. Sorry, but I just don't see it. I know many girls who chose both DG and DZ over CHIO.

Does anyone else feel like DZ is completely taking over this website? Dz may be a good chapter, but is definitely not one that is sought after by PNM's during rush. They won homecoming and lip-sync last year, which is great for them. However, that did not affect recruitment this year. The top PNM's still went adpi, aopi, chi o, ddd, kd, phi mu. Girls that got cut from those 6 went dz. They still have great girls, but definitely would not call them "top tier"

I don't feel that way at all. I commented on one of those posts. I went through fall recruitment, and I joined what you say is a "TOP" house. In my group, CHIO was not a top choice of many girls. Many girls actually preferred DZ and DG over CHIO. If anything, I would say CHIO might be the ones taking over the website. Seriously, CHIO did not get a very good pledge class. Personally, I just don't see what you claim.

agree...I didn't know hardly anyone who had CHIO as a top choice. As a matter of fact, I knew a lot of girls who went DG over CHIO.
