what houses will drop me with no recs?

I'm a PNM who tried to get recs for all houses. Unfortunately, I don't think all of the people who offered wound up sending in a rec. I'm OOS, pretty with over 3.0 GPA. Are there many houses who will automatically drop me? If so, which ones?

I'd make sure to make a great first impression. Recs shouldn't be as big a concern as grades, so if you went to a difficult HS make sure to point that out- girls won't necessarily know your school if you're from OOS. Most will look for a minimum of 3.5 from a difficult HS and 3.75+ from a regular public school (especially a public school known to have AP courses available) unless you're a legacy or know someone in the chapter already. Most houses absolutely require recs and will cut you without one. That being said, if a house REALLY wants you and likes you they can have an alum write one for you. Just try your best to make a good impression!

Recruitment issues are private within each sorority home. Until you are initiated, you will never know the criteria any sorority uses.

I would love to hear from any PNM who didnt get any recs this year. How did it work out? Just wondering....
