pref round
by: ConfusedWill someone plz explain how this works?? So u go to the 2 parties of your 2 fav houses (correct me if wrong) and then how do THEY choose which one gets u? Like what if both houses wanted u!! Guess I just don't rlly understand how u end up where u do on bid day

You are invited to up to 3 houses for Pref round. Afterwards you rank the houses 1 to 3. They rank you with all the other girls that went to their house for pref round. Pan looks at your ranking and where you are ranked on the each of the sororities you preffed. If you were ranked really low on your first choice's list, then pan moves to your 2nd choice, if you are ranked high on their list then you will get a bid from them. but if not they move on to the 3rd choice.
Suicide ranking is where you will only settle for your top choice so when you rank after pref round you only put that choice down. Downfall, if that house ranks you at say 76 and they have 65 bids to give out and they filled that quota before getting to number 76 then you are out. You are not eligible to receive COBs or participate in Spring recruitment if you suicide bid.
If you have made it to pref round and you rank all of the houses that pref you then you will get a bid.
