grades

I'm keeping an open mind while going thru rush however grades are very important to me and I was wondering how competitive is it to get into the sororities with the highest grades. I'm looking for a good combination of grades, sisterhood and campus involvement. I want the social aspects, but I'm not so much into the party scene if you know what I mean.

I'm in a chapter that doesn't have top grades. I myself dropped houses because of their GPA, and while I totally understand the desire to be with houses who value academics as much as you do, there are a lot of houses who would love to have girls who want to improve their house. It's hard to better a house's GPA if girls with good grades won't consider us to begin with, so just keep that in mind. It's not like another girl's GPA brings down your own, and you could be the change a house needs and wants.

No matter what house you join, you'll meet girls who are passionate about their grades and girls who just dgaf. If academics are that important to you, no matter where you end up, you'll find a group of gals that care about them just as much as you do.
