rushing out of state and not having recommendation
by: ???I'm from out of state and all the chapters in the midwest are not similar to the SEC schools, If i don't know anyone in these sororities and do not have a letter of rec is that a bad thing or do i need to try to find someone??? just confused

A recommendation can come from any affiliated member, even if they're not from the area where the school you are attending is. Search your networks and find women who will write you a recommendation. Put together a resume, headshot and request to give them. Ask your teachers, parents, church, and work associates. I would say that at UT recs are not 100% required across the board, but they are absolutely necessary for some chapters and will only help you if you're from OOS.
