sophomore rushing again
by: SophomoreI participated in sorority recruitment as a freshman, but dropped half way through the week because I was feeling very overwhelmed. I still had 6 houses left that I loved, but I didn't think I wanted to be in a sorority just yet. Now as a sophomore, I've decided to go through recruitment again. Will I have a worse chance of getting a house I want by going through a second time?

Nope you might even have a better chance because your college grades (if pretty good) will already be known so you aren't a potential grade risk and chapters have a sophomore quota to meet. You may also know girls in chapters and that can help during recruitment since a lot of girls are mysteries.

To be a success in recruitment during your second go-around, you must be very open and accepting of any invitations you receive.
"Getting the house you want" will become a dream if that house drops you this time, so keeping your options wide open is your best course of action.
Keep treating every sorority woman you meet as you would like to be treated, no exceptions.
No matter which home you are bid to, women from every other group on campus will remember your conduct and character during recruitment.
