out of state students rushing
by: GovolsI'm coming from pretty far out of state and was wondering how easy it is to rush in a situation like mine?

There are plenty of OOS girls in sororities at UT. Recruitment week is set up so while you are going through recruitment you can make a lot of friends, because you are assigned a gamma chi and a group to go through recruitment with. Most of the houses are very open to girls that don't necessarily have connections in those houses. Good Luck!!!

makes you stand out! All chapters are looking for some great out of state girls, and some fill their pledge classes with them. Also, chapters can only take X number of girls from the big in-state high schools. For example, there may be 50 girls from one school who are kind of competing with each other for spots. You don't have to worry with that, which is a good thing!
