alpha phi

We don't need alpha phi. We have 13 chapters, which is more than enough for the number of women who go through rush and the smaller number who choose to remain actives in their chapters until they graduate. There's also no room for another house, which would be a little bit awkward for alpha phi members. Greek life is shrinking, if anything, here at UT. The administration kicks off every fraternity they can and prevents others from doing anything with sororities. That would be even harder for alpha phi to have to compete w/ 13 chapters for a limited number of frats for socials, as it's already hard enough with only about 4 able to do anything.

It is not "crap". At a lot of the other SEC schools it is more cut throat than at UT, but that is a good thing. I suggest "govols7" go to another SEC school. If they go to Ole Miss or Alabama, I hope they have deep pockets and are a chapter legacy in order to get into a top tier sorority or frat at those schools. Greek Life is fun at UTK. It is what you make it anywhere you go.
To answer the OP. No we do not have Alpha Phi. There are 13 other great sororities with brand new multi-million dollar homes to be a part of.
