recruitment from the midwest

I've heard from many people that it's harder for girls to be recruited that come from the midwest such at Chicago and that southern girls can not pick them because they aren't like them? I want to know is there any bias or that sort of thing. It could also be the girl just didn't get any bids because no one truly didn't feel a connection.

I'm from the Midwest & I got a bid from my top house, and other girls I know did the same. Definitely don't let it stop you from rushing

to all houses and you will be fine. Some chapters fill up with girls who already know somebody; others are looking for new faces. Come in without pre-conceived ideas about chapters (including what you read on this site), maximize your options, and you should have a great experience.

UTK sororities may choose qualified women from any US state as members. There is no UTK rule prohibiting non-southern women from being chosen for membership to any UTK sorority.
