percentages of cuts during recruitment?
by: govolsHello! I am going to UTK this fall and am planning on rushing. I was wondering what the percentages were for girls that get cut and exactly how likely it is. Also, what are the main factors for getting cut? Thank you!

If you have a decent grade point average, you can hold a conversation, and you are open to all of the sororities, you will make it through recruitment with a bid. The whole process is designed to try to place all PNMs in a house. It is the girls who close themselves off to the "lower" ranked houses and drop when the ones they wanted drop them from their lists, that end up not in any house. Some of the "lower" ranked houses end up having the best sisterhoods because those girls really wanted to be a part of greek life.
