pls help

Actives in some sororities can write on a list that they know you (some have a list some don't)but they cannot write a formal rec for you. If you don't know someone in a chapter google alum chapters. For example: ADPI Alum chapters in Tennessee. Write a cover letter asking for a reccomendation & attach a sorority resume (google examples). Most chapters emailed me back & were more than willing to help me! You can also post on Facebook-- you'd be surprised how many hs teachers, people's moms, grandmothers, etc. were in a sorority.

Sororities all have different policies on who can write a rec, how active members can bring up or list someone they already know, etc. Your best bet for recs is through adult women you know- church ladies, teachers, neighbors, etc. They are usually glad to help- just get the word out. Also, when you find a woman to write you one rec, ask her if she has friends who can write one for you for other chapters. She probably does- alums tend to know lots of other sororities' alums.
