by: TruthI graduated from a huge west TN high school. Several girls in my class went through rush. Inexplicably, one 'top tier' sororority took a couple of girls from my school who were suspended and arrested, with no great resume either, but 'hot'. Another 'top' took a couple of 'hot' girls with no resume at all and questionable reps. 'Mid teer' Chi O took sweet nice girls with great resumes and good reps. Not 'hot' like the other girls, but cute and well liked. Well guess who got almost ALL the cute sweet talented girls going through rush from the memphis area public and private schools this year??? CHI O!!

Because they are known to take Memphis girls, and they are also known to be a lot better house than CHIO.

Tri Delt is known to take Memphis girls with sketchy reps just because they were "popular". It was definitely the case the last three years. Not really sure about this year - don't know these girls. Most of the older Tri delt girls would not do well in rush at other schools but since Memphis has control here, they can do what they want.

Tri Delt is an awesome house but just like at Ole Miss, they recruit based on high school popularity. Sometimes it works out and sometimes it doesn't.

also the girls they cut with good reps were actually the popular ones-class officers, hoco court types, scholastic awards...really weird.

Who gives a flip? I'm sure they got a great pledge class. Who the heck wants a pledge class full of girls from the same area. This is college. Time to branch out and get away from the high school mentality. The better houses are the ones with girls from all over TN as well as out of state. The ones concentrated in one area are the ones with so much drama. So if what you say is true, TriDelt will be the winner here.

Seriously is exactly right. I think all the sororities did a great job of getting girls outside of their comfort zone. I respect Tri Delt for getting girls that won't drop and have the financials to pay the dues for four years, it's a smart move, I respect Phi Mu for taking so many out of state girls. I respect ADPI, AOPi, and XO for handling so many UT legacies. I respect AXO for recognizing the gems that get lost in the shuffle. I respect all the sororities for loving your pledge classes. There truly were so many great girls, I cannot believe anyone is complaining!! All are going to have so much fun bonding and making life long friends.

I respect SK and PiPhi for really stepping up their game. I respect DG and ZTA for really getting a well rounded group. I respect DZ and KD for having a great recruitment as well. KKG did a great job landing some amazing OOS girls.
The poster above me obviously had an agenda, for leaving these houses out. Oh, and AXO didn't get girls that were "lost" in the shuffle. They got well sought out girls.

PhiMu, stopppp already!!!!! AXO didn't get girls who "slipped through the cracks." They got girls you wanted...lol. You have got to stop with the bashing. You couldn't seriously think that was a compliment?!? And nice way to mention only a few chapters.

I agree!!!!! AXO got girls PhiMu wanted, not ones that slipped through the cracks!!!!!!! Stop insulting everyone!!! Maybe you didn't get the best pledge class out of PAN this year, but quit cutting everyone down who did well! You did well too! It's mean!

literally almost every girl that preffed phi mu was between phi mu and axo. They definitely didn't get girls who "slipped through the cracks"

Stop hating on phi mu. AXO is an awsome house with awesome girls. There is no direct competition amongst the houses. You are just starting drama because you are insecure. Axo and phi mu are friends so leave them alone. Go,pan.
