First of all "Agree," how would you know who was top tier? You were not even on campus last year. This is an underhanded attempt to bash a perfectly good chapter, and yes, probably ranked higher than yours by the majority of the campus, both Greek and non Greek. With that being said, the best sororities took girls from many areas and didn't concentrate on one area. That's what brings diversity to a chapter. Diverse houses tend to have better sisterhoods because there are no already formed "cliques." If you were to ask the majority of the girls going through rush who their number one choice was, they probably wouldn't tell you CHIO. There is nothing wrong with that. They kind of stay under the radar, but I love the CHIO's I know. I really don't think the ones I know would approve of the way you girls are bashing another chapter to promote your own.

Why are your parents involved? How do they know who is top? CHIO is embarrassing themselves.

Complimenting CHIO????? She obviously is a CHIO. She doesn't name the house but alludes to the fact that another house popular to Memphis girls is subpar, when reality the house she is speaking of is way more popular than CHIO. No doubt the poster was cut from that house and settled for CHIO.

So you are saying it's true this other 'popular with Memphis girls' house took girls that were suspended, arrested....with thousands going through rush??? IF that's the case that explains why they aren't popular with them now.

Clearly the OP got cut from TriDelt. We all know they recruit from Memphis so we know who she is talking about They are a great house, one of the top, so stop your bashing and stop being bitter. CHIO may have gotten a lot of Memphis girls this year, but honestly the houses that recruited the best this year got a lot more diverse pledge class than CHIO got. Why would you want a house full of girls from one area? This is college. It's time to leave high school behind and branch out!

She said top 2 so maybe tri delt and phi mu? They did make ???? West tn choices last year but are still stronger than chi o for sure though i do see what op means.

This was LAST YEAR, and her post presented it as if it were this year.! Why bring this up now? Why bring it up again, if you are not threatened or bitter? Every house has given a bid to at least one person over the years who did not turn out to be a good fit. No house is exempt from this! If she was truly just so happy about her house, you don't have to bad mouth other houses, period!

True, everyone wouldn't be so defensive and would be shouting 'lies'. However most know it is true, and some obviously even know details given these responses. Don't come to GR to crow about your great pledge class though Chi O, or anyone. Just be happy amongst yourselves. OP didn't say the others did poorly this year either, just that they didn't get the best from a certain area, which is true. It's not because they cut those girls either, but they still git great PCs also.

I have no idea what the purpose was. Obviously not to 'hurt Tri Delt', who wasn't even mentioned by op, and rush is over. I guess it was just a childish way to say 'haha told you so' about taking girls with poor records and expecting girls from those areas to pick you the next fall. The ironic thing is, it was the multiple people 'defending' TD that confirmed what the OP was saying was true.
