I heard they gave out snap bids. If that's the case, they didn't make quota.

Phi Mu made quota for their new member pledge class but they were still under chapter total. They did not have to give out snap bids but they were eligible to. They gave out a few to some girls who slipped through the cracks during recruitment. Good for them!!

I love how PhiMu explains giving out snap bids, yet when anyone else has given out snap bids or had spring pledges comments are made that they had to give out snap bids because they didn't make quota, blah, blah, blah. Perhaps this will be a humbling experience for you , and you realize it happens to EVERYBODY!!!!!!!

No they didn't. New member quota was 61. Tri Delt got 56 girls. I'm not saying it is a bad thing- it doesn't necessarily mean anything at all. I'm just stating the facts. You can't argue with that.

"Actually" When you are insecure and pathetic, you come on websites like this and bash others or make insinuations/ "state facts" to try to shed a negative light on other houses/people to make yourself feel better. You can try to justify your reasons all you want, but that is the truth. The only people who have knowledge of a houses specifics would be girls in the house or someone from Panhellenic. If you are a member of Pan, you bring shame to the institution. Every house got the majority of the girls they wanted and some that they now realize they should have wanted because they cannot imagine their sisterhood without them! Do yourself a favor and put the high school mean girl attitude behind you before you end up that bitter old mom 25 years from now, complaining on Greek Rank that her precious legacy daughter did not get a bid.

So true! OP doesn't even know what snap bids are so they are making negatives up against houses they know did well in recruitment. This happens every year after rush as lying about houses "not making quota" and "giving out snaps" appears on many university GR sites. Why is it the negatives are always about the strong recruiting houses? Why are they the only houses that "don't make quota" and no one else? Strop throwing shade on houses you obviously aren't a member of and seem to care to much about. FYI, snap bids are given out after pref cards are signed and before bids are given out. That's so a house that went through their bid list and came up short on bids can "snap" up to quota. NOONE knows who has been snapped except the PNM and execs. The PNM opens a bid card like everyone else. Snaps are a rarity. It's COBs that are given out after bids are given and only if a house is allowed to pick up extra girls. AND why would that only be the strong chapters? It would be ALL chapters. Go Pan.

You don't have to explain yourselves over and over, PhiMu. Just remember that if another house gives snaps or COB or spring rush, you jump to their defense. We've all done it, yet when everyone else does is there is not a dozen explanations. It's okay!!!

No need to get so defensive! I never slammed tri delt or said that they did not have a good recruitment! But when new member quota was 61 and they only got 56 girls, you can't come on here and try to say that isn't true. It's just a fact. They're still a strong house and they always will be.

No one gave out snap bids. Phi mu participated in "continuous open bidding". As did tri delt, as did axo, as did zta, etc.
And I wasn't talking about snap bids anyway. All I said was that tri delt didn't meet their new member quota

Don't any of you realize that a Phi Mu did not post this? It's someone trying to put shade on Phi Mu while they build their perceived social media reputation in the next tier. It is laughable..
