I just grouped them based on personality types with no reference to tiers, these are obviously generalizations & taken with grain of salt, so calm down ladies & open your mind a bit

AXO, ZTA, DZ, DG - they like to go out, competive. I get the soccer/athletic vibe from a lot of girls in these houses. Very outgoing and a little edgier than the other houses. Think Jessica Alba meets Megan Fox meets Vanessa Hudgens

AOPi, SK, KKG, XΩ, Pi Phi - hard to define, usually very All-American, more laid back but still go out and can be crazy. Some chapters more academically focused than others but still kind of a hipster vibe mixed with a little prep; Mila Kunis meets Jennifer Lawrence meets Lauren Conrad

KD, ADPi, Phi Mu, DDD- these just have a type and sort of stick to it, very blonde (I'm not hating just pointing it out), very visible and pageant-y (talking more about some chapters than all), very image-conscious and competive in that sense, but haven been known to party hard. Taylor Swiff meets Audrina Patridge meets Blake Lively

Again, there are other factors that differentiate these houses but I think if you really look at them most have a combo of these but choose to project one version of themselves. Be happy with yourself and with your choice to come to UT, Greek life can be great but it can also make you question yourself and feel like you aren't wanted and don't belong. Try to be fair to each house and realize it's a few close friends in the house that make college fun

This is pretty much how I saw it during Pan Preview. Some really good houses, but I would say all were great.

I am not an ADPi so as an unbiased opinion, I really disagree with defining ADPi as "pageant-y" and "blonde." All the girls I know in there are very artsy and free spirited people that you would never even guess were in a sorority because they do anything but fit the stereotypical sorority mold as described in "no status quo's" post. There are different friend groups in each sorority and "no status quo" and I are probably familiar with different groups but from what I know I would define them as "hip" and "fun loving", especially the older girls

Not really necessary to only label two chapters by their tiers. They wanted positive stereotypes so the tiers you put were just to put down those two. So much for pan love and being equal. Also rude to label SK as easy that was unnecessary 100%

It's so true what " not really" said. These brief house summaries are ridiculous and agenda based. No house is a generalization of a few words. To PNMs, be smart when reading GR post! Some houses post what they want you to think. And they are hopeful you don't have the intelligence to think for yourselves. SO, think for yourselves! Recruitment is the best way to understand what each house is about. Greek life is fun!!! Enjoy being in college. Remember to study. Its ALL good. AND get off GR!
