philanthropy and community service
by: CuriousI an very excited about recruitment! I want to join a sorority for fun of course, but also involvement! I was big into community service in hs and was wondering if anyone could tell me the sororities that do a lot of community service hours and the ones that raise a lot of money for their philanthropy. Thank you!

Somewhere on the Panhellenic site is a report of grades, number of members, etc. for each chapter. It goes back for several semesters. it might be a good resource for PNMs who want the real statistics, not just the opinions on this website, which are almost all put here with a biased agenda, are often inaccurate and mean spirited, and not very helpful.

The information is correct as posted. I looked it up on the PAN website to see if it was accurate...check it out for yourself. Not sure how the information is mean spirited. Someone answered a girl's question and NOTHING derogatory was said about another house. The information posted is from the past school year. I hate to disappoint you, but they were based on REAL statistics.

Money raised and hours performed can be a little misleading sometimes. It's so amazing how much the top 3 earn, but it's also
a lot of parents donating and girls usually overstate hours a tad. All
The houses are super actives raising money, several in the $15,000-$20,000 range so keep that in mind. Also keep in mind philanthropies close to your heart that speak to you.

You are right! The info is all there. I just checked and the above information is accurate as far as top money raisers and community service hours clocked in.
