I'm an incoming freshman and I've already payed for my rush and have read through the broucher and I see that recommendation letters are due before rush even starts ? Are these really important or just help ..

Yes, they are important. If you don't know an alumni you can reach out to your local alumni organizations and try to get a Rec from them.

They are very important. Ask your mom's friends, women at your church, and ask your former teachers. They will be more than happy to write you a rec.
